Daguerreotype portrait of abolitionist Passmore Williamson photographed in his prison cell in Moyamensing Prison in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1855. He was imprisoned for 100 days for giving evasive testimony about the role he played in helping to free three African American slaves owned by United States Minister to Nicaragua John H. Wheeler.
